Robyn’s New Video: Tubular Belle

A new video by Swedish pop singer Robyn: a welcome Friday-morning development. The video is for the single “Indestructible,” which wasn’t (isn’t?) supposed to drop until November 17. It’s the lead single from her forthcoming album Body Talk, which, somewhat confusingly, follows Body Talk Pt. 1 and Body Talk Pt. 2, both of which have already been released this year; the new album features five songs from each in addition to five new songs.
This video is a little strange, and possibly NSFW: it intersperses Robyn singing with (basically PG-13) footage of naked people doing what naked people do. Oh, and Robyn wears a tube dress, but not the kind you’re used to—no, this one takes the concept a bit more literally, with actual clear tubes crisscrossing her body. We don’t understand it, but we accept it.
