This is SOUND ADVICE, a weekly destination for playlists curated by Interview’s friends, enemies, and lovers. Over the past few weeks, we’ve gathered playlists from Jeremy Pope, Addison Rae, and Crush Sahara. This week’s installment comes courtesy of Gregory Miller, the sound selector, art director, and Antwerp fashion student who also goes by DJ Bloodcore. If you haven’t already bumped into him at a downtown party or on set with your favorite brands, get familiar through this playlist, perfect for whatever Independence Day celebrations you have in store. “Not to carry, but I was imagining if we were in that movie, Civil War, and it was July 4th,” he says of the vision behind the playlist, titled “NeoYork,” which bounces from Brat to Sukihana to Deli Girls. Plus, he told us about the most iconic runway soundtracks, the fashion designer he’d wear during the apocalypse, and which NYC venues he’d fuck, marry, and kill.
