Intergalactic: Depeche Mode Reveals DVD Details

Almost a year after playing two sold-out shows at Barcelona’s Palau St. Jordi in late November 2009, during their “Tour of the Universe,” Depeche Mode is making the whole experience available to fans: they’ll release a live Blu-Ray and DVD package of the concerts next Tuesday, November 9, on Capitol Records. It will be available in three formats: a set of two Blu-Rays; a Deluxe Edition that contains a DVD and two CD’s recorded at the shows; and a Super Deluxe four-disc set that adds an extra DVD with bonus content. We always wonder who actually buys these things, but Depeche Mode may actually have enough supporters to pull it off—in their three decades, they’ve sold over 100 million albums.
