Q & Andy: Troye Sivan
“I share every aspect of my life with the internet,” Troye Sivan said on his 2013 YouTube video “Coming Out,” in which the massively influential vlogger turned actor and pop star did just that. By that point, the Australian Sivan, now 21, had already appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) as the young Wolverine, released an EP, and signed a major record deal. In 2014, he made Time magazine’s list of the 25 most influential teens, and last year he released the critically acclaimed album Blue Neighbourhood. All he’s done since then is surf the Billboard charts, do a little dancing while on a world tour, and make the world a little less scary and a little more inclusive, one YouTube video at a time.
