EUGENIE BONDURANT: This show was incredible. It was like nothing I’ve ever seen.

MEL OTTENBERG: Never.

BONDURANT: Ever. First of all, a red carpet runway show—what a surprise. Then, to watch a video of the show that was edited so quickly, I mean, that blows my mind. Plus, you have The Simpsons! Holy smokes! Amazing. This is such a beautiful design team. Everyone is kind and nice and they love each other, and you know what? That comes from the top. Demna sets the tone of the entire organization, and you can feel it from the models to the talent.

OTTENBERG: So, Eugenie, how did they find you?

BONDURANT: Oh, they found me in this TINY film called The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

OTTENBERG: Sorry, did you say, “The Conjuring: The Government Made Me Do It?”

BONDURANT: [Laughs] No, the DEVIL made me do it.

OTTENBERG: Oh, so just that little movie, got it.

BONDURANT: I scared Demna— he couldn’t sleep for two days after he saw it, so he finally said, ‘I want her in the show.’ So the team reached out to me on Instagram and asked if I’d be interested.

OTTENBERG: Fantastic.

BONDURANT: I thought it was a scam—

OTTENBERG: Right, of course.

BONDURANT: —So, I told them to reach out to my agency. It wasn’t a scam, because now, two weeks later, here I am in Paris.

OTTENBERG: Well, you stole the show, you look phenomenal, and we love you for it.
