In the Eye of Thomas Tait
In the third look at Thomas Tait’s Spring/Summer 2016 show, the model bore what looked like an all-seeing eye around her neck. This circular motif cropped up again and again in different forms: space-age cut-outs, mod patches on a denim jacket, circular crystals adorned on a vinyl skirt, and target-shaped embellishments on the knees of standard blue jeans. The whole show had a futuristic aesthetic, albeit one with a definite hint of mysticism.
