The Dare Takes Us Behind the Scenes at the Saint Laurent Afters

The Dare, photographed by Myles Hendrik.
Last week, Saint Laurent opened a new multi-level Meatpacking District store designed to reflect Anthony Vaccarello’s sleek, mid-century sensibilities. To celebrate the occasion, models and muses including Coi Leray, Del Water Gap, and Dominic Sessa communed at Chez Margaux for an afters DJ’d by The Dare. A few days later, we tracked down the indie sleaze icon to ask a few very important questions.
What does your suit smell like?
Sweat, blood, and an ever-changing rotation of perfumes.

Maya Stepper.
If you could shoplift one thing from the Saint Laurent store what would it be?
I can never have too many pairs of sunglasses. Saint Laurent if you’re reading this…

Jeremy Watson.
What should playing at all times in the Saint Laurent store?
“You Don’t Know Me” by Closer Musik. It’s stylish, dark, and perfectly tailored.

Henry Eikenberry and Matthew Avedon.
What is your New Year’s resolution?
DJ less and dance more.

Coi Leray.
What’s your favorite thing to do in a dark room?
Sleep, obviously. Get your mind out of the gutter.

Dominic Sessa.
What song defined your 2024?
“I Can Only Give You Everything” by Them. Self-explanatory.

Corey Fogelmanis and Jeremy Watson.
What’s “in” for 2025?
Polka dots, stripes, turquoise. Party like it’s 2012.

Henry Eikenberry.
