Dara Takes Us for a Ride in the New Coach Sneaker

Beep beep! The new Coach Soho sneakers are here, featuring a slew of customizable baubles to make you feel a little cheerier about pumping through the frigid city. After the sneakers arrived at the Interview office, fashion director Dara took them for a spin in head-to-toe Coach.

JULIAN RIBEIRO: Well, we just had a fab styling challenge in the Interview office.

DARA: I was just working away, so focused on trying to get all these shoots done, and you came in and interrupted me with a fabulous pair of Soho sneakers from Coach.

RIBEIRO: I really pushed you to your limits and we creatively approached every situation.

DARA: And I think I found a new vibe, and it’s this toy sneaker. I like the toy sneaker vibe.

RIBEIRO: We got to play with toys today. I think the Interview office can feel like a playground sometimes, so it really came full circle.

DARA: Yeah. All work and no play makes you a dull—

RIBEIRO: Diva.

DARA: A dull diva!

RIBEIRO: What’s on your Soho sneaker?

DARA: She’s tea. It came with a little deer, a little horsey, and then a pink Corvette, which is really fab. But I chose the dice and the taxi because I have a strict color palette. Black, white, yellow. That’s my life.

RIBEIRO: Just like New York’s famous taxi cab.

DARA: Yeah, it’s about me in the cab.

RIBEIRO: And then we got to play with some beautiful dresses and jackets.

DARA: I really loved the leather moto.

RIBEIRO: And we finally got to see that pink and that yellow dress in person, which was so cute.

DARA: The little babydolls are adorable and they fit so perfect. I could do so much in that dress.

RIBEIRO: The office is so busy. 

DARA: It’s like when you’re out on the street and you can’t get a cab because everyone’s doing their thing. That’s what the vibe is in here. It’s a traffic jam. It’s like, beep beep.

RIBEIRO: Coach taxi coming through!
