“Warhol was an establishment revolutionary, a mainstream radical, an underground superstar. His pop art still pops almost 30 years after his death. His unabashed use of color has inspired me endlessly,” says New York-based shoe designer Paul Andrew, who created an exclusive rendition of his Zenadia pump for this issue, inspired by Warhol’s soup cans. “I thought it would be rather fun to take Warhol’s iconic imagery and apply to my signature silhouette,” he explains. “It’s wearable pop art!”
