Hot people wear glasses. Or do glasses make people hotter? To test this theory and celebrate the launch of Warby Parker’s latest collection, Editions, which launches today, we enlisted a group of prescription-toting, Warby Parker wearing hotties—actress Natasha Lyonne, celebrity chef David Chang, model and activist Zaya Wade, NBA star Jordan Poole, stylist Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, visual artist José Parlá, and TikTok wunderkind Reece Feldman—to take our questionnaire. Each of the aforementioned stars has reimagined a pair of Warby’s for the campaign, putting their own individual spins on a set of classic frames. Below, they reveal to us their personal survival tactics, most recent Google searches, and the one person who looks hotter in glasses.

NATASHA LYONNE

Who are your enemies? To quote Bruce Lee, “I have no enemies because I have no I.”

What’s your step count today? I try to keep it below 12.

Name someone who looks hotter in glasses: Lina Wertmüller.

What’s your vision? -1.5 in both eyes but it’s getting better, genuinely. Now it’s -1.25 in old lefty, I swear.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes. Living it. It really happened.

What’s your last google search? Mabel Normand’s filmography as a director. It’s pretty extensive and impressive. A worthy rabbit hole indeed.

What’s your survival tactic? Go where it’s warm emotionally, keep the brains busy with new information, prioritize jokes, do the crossword daily.

Sunglasses inside: yes or no? Situational. A classic case of “read the room.”

Who has vision? My puppy Rootbeer. She’s truly transcendent, a visionary.

Who are you watching? I’m watching my nephew grow up way too fast. And I have my eye on this kid on his soccer team who yanked his jersey at practice—watching that one very closely.

Who are your enemies? At the moment, Rob from Love Island is ranking among them.

Name someone who looks hotter in glasses: Daniel Day Lewis (specifically in Phantom Thread).

What’s your vision? 20/20.

Do you save money? I do, in that I am a real adult with a retirement fund. I don’t, in that I am a real adult with a crippling shopping addiction.

What’s your favorite view? A Southern California suburban cul-de-sac lined with palm trees. Homey.

Do you believe in love at first sight? In theory, but I suppose I’ll have to see it in practice to know empirically. Wow, I am very single.

What’s in your fridge? I cannot know for sure but I do hope I haven’t thrown away my leftover crispy duck wraps from my post-Alaia show, Mr. Chow impulse dînatoire.

Sunglasses inside: yes or no? Yes.

Who has vision? @donormaal AND @_torisheju_.

DAVID CHANG

Who are your enemies? Eagles fans.

What’s your step count today? 3,000 today. In New York, 15,000 easily every day. You should ask me how many miles I’ve driven.

Name someone who looks hotter in glasses: My wife, Grace.

What’s your vision? Terrible. I can’t see faces from 10 feet away. The lenses of my glasses could start a fire.

What’s your favorite view? Teton Range.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes I do. But is it reciprocal?

What’s in your fridge? Cheesesteaks, salami, white bread, shredded cheddar cheese, eggs, leftover chicken tenders, leftover mac and cheese, everything my kids eat.

What’s your survival tactic? Just be faster than the other person.

Sunglasses inside: yes or no? Yes, because I’m lazy.

Who has vision? The Scarlet Witch.

What’s your vision? Bad.

What’s your favorite view? A movie theater screen in a dark room surrounded by a few friends and strangers.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Not in the traditional sense.

What’s your last Google search? Dilophosaurus size.

What’s your survival tactic? If your body is telling you no, listen.

Who has vision? Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha. They know their worth.

ZAYA WADE

Who are you watching? I’ve been carefully watching Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars because I knew something was going on with that single. BTW, go stream “Die with a Smile” because it’s amazing!

Who are your enemies? On one hand, all the homophobes and transphobes. On the other hand, everyone in a Marvel comment section saying that Wanda is stronger than the whole franchise (y’all are my opps).

Name someone who looks hotter in glasses: Easy. Me, obviously. Love you, Warby.

What’s your vision? To be one of the only trans scientists in the world… for now, of course.

What’s your favorite view? I was on a glacier in Norway last summer and the view from up there was legendary. 10/10 would recommend.

What’s your favorite airport? The airport in Singapore. I’ve never been there, but it was in Crazy Rich Asians so I love it.

Do you believe in love at first sight? No, no way you can fall in love with someone whose name you don’t even know yet. That being said, I eat up every rom-com ever made.

What’s your survival tactic? Not to be a stereotype, but I am running for my life at the speed of sound. There is no way I am looking back to see if someone is catching up, I’m just gonna dash. #Scream7Survivor

Sunglasses inside: yes or no? I unironically wear sunglasses indoors, even though it definitely makes me look bougie as hell. 2/10 would not recommend, but I love a sunny outdoors.

JOSÉ PARLÁ

José Parlá in the Winston frames in Blue Marblewood with Striped Cypress by Warby Parker.

What’s your vision? My vision is to continue to create art, in painting, writing, films, music and dance that can help heal and uplift anyone that needs art in their life. Art by itself may not be able to change the world, but it is an important element of creating a positive landscape in someone’s life.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Yes.

What’s your last google search? Alberto Zayas Govín (February 14, 1908 – 1983) was a Cuban rumba singer and songwriter who founded one of the first recorded rumba ensembles, Grupo Afrocubano Lulú Yonkori. He is considered one of the most important guaguancó vocalists/composers in the history of rumba.

What’s your survival tactic? Love, family and friends.

Sunglasses inside: yes or no? That depends on the situation. I wear light-responsive prescription lenses so when I walk indoors they take a bit to go clear again. Some places are sunny indoors and I don’t notice they are dark.
