It’s 4/20, the 20th day of April, or as one of the questions in the FAQ section of Google puts it: “the pothead holiday.” For those paying homage to the little plant that could—and its recent legalization in New York City—it is also important to pay respect to the figures and trailblazers of our generation’s weed revolution. Of course, there is Snopp Dogg, the OG, but on this day here today, we want to take a look at a woman—the woman—who has become synonymous with weed culture, as well as beauty, fashion, music, and overall bad bitch-ness: Rihanna. Aside from her achievements as a musical and fashion icon, it is her avid advocacy for smoking weed and looking hot while doing it that we are honoring today—and of course, her uncanny ability to effortlessly walk on grates.
