Their unabashedly messy digital presence is a required follow for anyone who cares about the fashion, gossip, queerness, and cultural issues that really matter—most of the time. On Pisano’s Instagram, you’ll find an amalgam of fashion commentary, photos of fabulously kinky getups, and piping hot tea from fashion insiders. INTERVIEW: A/S/L?
LOUIS PISANO: 31, nonbinary/gay, Paree (Paris).
INTERVIEW: What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
PISANO: Check my phone to make sure I’m not starting the day off in some drama (that I probably caused online).
INTERVIEW: What were your last three Google searches?
PISANO:
INTERVIEW: Did you get the Balenciaga jockstrap?
PISANO: I ended up getting the women’s high-cut panty. The rainbow jock gives Andrew Christian vibes and I’m not that girl.
INTERVIEW: What’s your favorite meme format?
PISANO: 100% the Black Wojaks. Keeps me rolling for HOURSSSS. This one is messy.
INTERVIEW: What’s your favorite YouTube rabbit hole?
PISANO: Watching Whitney Port react to The Hills, The City, and Laguna Beach, because she and her husband be so messy about the girls sometimes. I even set reminders for it. Maybe it’s because those shows were so influential for me. Watching them back with commentary in the times we’re living now, and watching our perception of the cast members change, is really fascinating. Justice for Kristin Cavallari. She was never the villain 😔
INTERVIEW: Did you watch her show on E!?
PISANO: No. I saw some clips of it and it felt very…BEIGE. I mean so was Laguna Beach and The Hills but, like, that was the early 2000s.
INTERVIEW: Early 2000s TV just hit different. What’s your stalking platform of choice?
PISANO: Twitter! The girls be posting wild shit on there. I have so many notifications on so I can catch the post-and-deletes 🤣
INTERVIEW: Is there anyone in particular you’d like to mention? Or is that too messy?
PISANO: Way too messy. I can’t have the girls going on 🔒 mode.
INTERVIEW: Describe your private browsing persona in three words.
PISANO: Kink, witchcraft, and more kink.
INTERVIEW: Print or digital?
PISANO: Definitely digital, unless it’s a feature of me, then I live seeing it in print.
INTERVIEW: How many unread text messages do you have?
PISANO: 46 at the moment, usually it’s a lot more, but I was exhausted after fashion week so I laid in bed and finally answered people.
INTERVIEW: What was your AIM screen name?
PISANO: LouSkittlez.
INTERVIEW: What’s a website everyone should know about?
PISANO: ShotDeck! I’m super into cinematography, movies, and TV. It’s this incredible database of movie stills that you can search by keywords, colors, composition, moods, and even brands. I love getting lost in searches on there and curating “to watch” lists based on shots I love.
INTERVIEW: What’s an account everyone should follow?
PISANO: Shelton Boyd Griffith a.k.a. @flyrebel on Twitter. He says exactly what so many of us are thinking so eloquently, while still keeping it spicy—from pop culture to fashion to social issues.
INTERVIEW: What does your TikTok FYP look like?
PISANO: Hot straight French guys doing stupid shit, fashion reel tutorials, and self-defense techniques.
INTERVIEW: What’s the strangest fan DM you’ve received?
PISANO: Someone once told me that I have sexy hands, cause I was aggressively clapping in a video. He asked me if I’d be down to fist him.
INTERVIEW: What’s your favorite celebrity IG account to follow?
PISANO: My favorite celebrity IG account to follow is definitely Azealia Banks. Yes, I know that’s problematic but her reads are pure ART sometimes bordering on ACADEMIC. Also, it’s never-ending DRAMA. Nobody does social media like Geminis. I mean, look at Kanye 👀
INTERVIEW: Read receipts: on or off?
PISANO: Read receipts OFF. I recently dated a Scorpio. Didn’t need the drama.
INTERVIEW: What’s your password?
PISANO: You wish.
